Dogs are better than cats

I think dogs are better than cats because they're cute and cuddly and it's easier to take a dog on a walk. Dogs are fun to play with and Cats like to sleep a lot. Dogs are really really really fun. Dogs are really fun because they are cuddly and cute and they love their owners so much. Play game dogs are not lazy like cats. They live in Kennels and sometimes they are easy to play fetch with. I love dogs so much. Dogs are best friends to their owners. I love dogs.
Dogs help the police and care for the old people. Dogs stop burglars and guard houses. Cats are not fun to play with.

The Dawn Service

Write a story about the picture. Imagine you are there.
Planning

What do I see?
Dark, lots of people, dark clouds in the sky, people dressed warm
What do I hear?
Music, people speaking
What do I feel?
Proud, sad for deaths
What are other people feeling?
Special time to honour people at war.

My ANZAC STORY

Every Anzac Day the people gather to remember all the soldiers that helped defend our country in the war.

Some people wear poppies to show they are remembering the soldiers. I like Anzac biscuits - my Grandma made some for our family. The children in the picture are from brownies. It is very dark at the dawn service. I think the soldiers that fought for our country were very brave. I am proud of what they did.

Reading Week 2 Beeman Interview

The Beeman is called Wally Baker. He has thousands of bees at his house. He loves bees. It is very hard to have a bath because the bees keep bothering him. He has a sign that says Beware of the Bees. Once a robber tried to break in and the bees stopped them. He has a box to take his bees out. I think the Beeman is very happy and I would like to meet him one day.

Tidying My Room

Tidying My Room

Our Hub helped at home.  My job was to spring clean my room. First I made my bed. Next I folded my clothes very neatly. Then I picked up all my toys. Last I put my teddies on my bed. I had fun doing jobs for my Mum. I am going to help Mum do her room next week. My room looks the best in our house.

The best thing I like about my house is my toys. I really like to play with my dolls house.  I liked helping my mum do the baking. We made  chocolate cake.
